Is it possible to travel from San Francisco to Madras, India without flying?
I know it is technically possible, I know it is possible if I owned my own yacht or freighter. But I am just an ordinary middle class guy with a lot of time and a few 10s of thousands to dollars. Can it be done as a series of sea and land based travels? Other - Destinations - 2 Answers

It's possible. Have you checked with your local travel agent? It seems like it would be time consuming though.
