San Francisco! Woah..!! Love that place.. Alright if its for the first time.. U can visit.. 1)Bay Bridge 2)Fisherman̢۪s Wharf.. (Ghiradelli Square and Pier 39) 3)Golden Gate Bridge 4)Japantown 5)The O Farrel Street & the Crooked Street... 6)The Chocolate House & a lunch/Dinner at the Nans & Curries Restaurant at the heart of San Francisco.. Its an Indian Cuisine restaurant & U cant miss it! :D For shopping u have a lot of choice left like The Nordstorm WestField Mall..(Union Square) the best of all.. The Apple TM Shop.. The Macys.. Niki Town & lots more.. Its a fun place to be at! Enjoy the city! These can be covered in a Day & they r worth a watch!! U can use the trams of this city or cabs are faster to reach places.

He should enjoy Alcatraz, The San Francisco Zoo, Fisherman's Wharf, Driving down the "crookedest street in the world" (Lombard St), Chinatown, riding a cable car, and Calfornia Academy of Sciences (in Golden Gate Park). The shopping is good at Ghiradelli Square and Pier 39 on Fisherman's Wharf. Also good is the Embarcadero Center (Embarcadero) and Westfield San Francisco Center in Union Square.

Chinatown is a great place to get SF souvenirs at reasonable prices and he can try the hot Chinese pastries (aka: dim sum). They are fun finger foods and mild in flavor so ppl from all kinds of backgrounds like em. There are shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, custard tarts, egg rolls, etc. If he wants some good Italian food/pizza, a visit to North Beach is convenient (next door to Chinatown). The Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate park is worth a look. Union Sq is full of high end stores-- Burberry, Saks, Neiman-Marcus, etc. He might like a cable car ride all the way to Fisherman's Wharf. The view of the SF Bay is great-- videos don't cut it. You have to see it in person. Alcatraz (the old jail) is a fun visit too. He won't be bored.
