About best mode to travel from San Francisco, USA to Toronto, Canada

Best mode to travel from San Francisco, USA to Toronto, Canada?
Dear friends, I am traveling to San Francisco, USA for a month and planning to travel to Toronto for a week. What is the best (fun and cheap) way of traveling to and forth? I love traveling by train. Is there train connection between SF, USA and Toronto? If not, if air is only medium, how to get round the cheapest round trip ticket? regards, Neutya

The problem is that if you don't fly, you will take up lots of your vacation time. The cheapest and most fun way is to find someone paying to have their car driven that general direction, and then train it the rest of the way. You can actually make money from going where you need to go, and the person with the car saves over having it shipped. If you fall in love with the bay area while you're there and decide you want to buy a house there, check out Taylor Morrison. They sell houses in the area and have a free $25,000 sweepstakes on their web site. http://is.gd/eDHX
2 :
fly to Buffallo,NY and take a greyhound bus to toronto. Just a 1.5 hour bus ride, better than the 4hr train.

About what would you recommend for RV travel in San Francisco

What would you recommend for RV travel in San Francisco?
I'm flying to San Francisco and renting an RV in October. I'm aware that traffic and parking is a mess in San Francisco, but what other routes would be a good way to go? We'd like to go up through Napa Valley and maybe further north. Any ideas? Thanks.

If you're driving to Napa, take 101 to 37, it's much prettier than the route through Oakland. Check out Sonoma while you're up there -- it's goregous and not as tourist-crowded as Napa. I don't know much about further north of Napa, but if you're going south of SF too -- you should drive down Highway 1 -- it was just re-opened all the way down. It's a beatiful drive down to Half Moon Bay, and Monterey. Carmel is only 2-2 1/2 hours from SF and is really a must-see. Lots of litte B&B's to stay in, art galleries, and Point Lobos for hiking. Have fun!

If you are just driving through, then you should have no problem with a RV. If you plan to stay for a few days, it can get costly. There is one RV park. I'd recommend parking there and taking the Muni train or bus around The City.
3 :
the wineries through sonoma are better than napa. north of napa? tahoe/reno? though that might not be a trip to take in an rv--elevations above 7000 ft; there are several national parks up that way. south i'd recommend monterey. yosemite is east/south.

There is an RV park in Pacifica, California - which is only seven miles from the city. The RV park is right on the ocean - literally like 100 feet away - and it's quiet and beautiful. You should check it out!
5 :
Stay the hell out of S.F. with an R.V. you ll be sorry it will never work
6 :
I would say get the RV outside of SF if possible. Can't imagine find street parking for an RV in SF....

About Reliable travel agency in San Francisco that specialize in trips to Ukraine

Reliable travel agency in San Francisco that specialize in trips to Ukraine?
Does anyone know a good travel agent/agency in San Francisco Bay Area who specialize in visa services and reasonable airline tickets to Ukraine?

American citizens are not required to have a visa to enter Ukraine for tourist purposes. You may stay up to 90 days in a 180 day period with no visa. I can not help you with travel agent in San Francisco area but I have used www.orbitz.com for airline tickets when I travel to Ukraine. There were absolutely no problems with the tickets, travel insurance, baggage, etc. If you are planning to stay in one city rather than tour several cities in Ukraine, may I suggest renting an apartment rather than stay in a hotel? Apartment rentals with a full kitchen, etc are cheaper than staying in a hotel and I found to be as safe. I have provided a link to the apartment service I use. They have always been very trustworthy.

You will find airfare fairly cheap in the US for travel to the Ukraine. You can however fly fairly cheap and at a moments notice with no additional charges even if you book your trip a day ahead. Once you get here and want to travel around, just find a local travel agency and they will find you reliable transport around the country. As for your Visa if you are a US citizen and only plan on traveling around the Ukraine you will not need a visa. If you are planning to travel to Russia or some of the other countries in proximity you will want to look on the US government website for countries that require visas. If you decide you want to obtain a visa for another country while you are here, you will have to travel to Kiev and to embassy of that country you plan to travel to. Keep in mind that NOT all countries have an embassy in Kiev, so once again a little home work on your part is required. If you do a simple google search you will find the answers you looking very available most likely. Good luck!

Approx. 8 hours
2 :
According to the airlines, a nonstop flight from San Francisco to London is about 10 hours and 25 minutes.
3 :
A non-stop flight on United Airlines flight UA935 which departs San Francisco around 6 p.m. takes 9 hours 40 minutes actual flight time because of tail winds. Flights from London to San Francisco take about an hour longer.

take BART from the airport to fremont. its cheap and stops in fremont.
2 :
About 40 miles..take Bart from the airport to San Francisco to Fremont..you may have to change trains in San Francisco. have a good trip
3 :
From SFO Airport to center of Fremont is about 32 miles via 101 & 84. Once you know where you want to go in Fremont, locate the address on a map and find out how far it is from a BART station. If it is close by, you can take a BART train to Fremont. Otherwise, you can try a cab. it costs you about 65-70 bucks. If that is expensive, try a shuttle. It should be less than 20 bucks. NOTE: I dont think BART runs on Saturday and Sunday between SFO and Fremont. Check it out before you leave.
